RIDEWELL is a motorcycle lifestyle blog for riders who want a quality relationship with their motorcycle and the motorcycle community. It’s part motorcycle safety, part moto-philosophy, and 100% pro-motorcycling, written for both novice and experienced riders.
I (Loryn) started RIDEWELL after realizing that it was really hard to find useful, well-written information about motorcycle safety, and that nobody was really talking about motorcycles in the way I viewed them — as an incredible, fun way to experience life, that is also challenging, and requires dedication, maturity, and commitment.
I also write about learning to work on my vintage motorcycles, which include a 1980 Kawasaki KZ440 (aka The Little Rat), and a 1982 Honda XL250R.
New to the blog? Any of these posts would be a great place to start:

2023 Update: Anyone who produces content for the Internet knows it’s incredibly demanding to continually produce content and keep up with the social media game, so in 2019 I made the decision to pause publishing on RIDEWELL. I am enormously proud of my writing and motorcycle accomplishments, and plan to continue maintaining the site for as long as I can!
P.S. As of November 2023, the KZ is on display at the Texas Vintage Motorcycle Museum in Johnson City, TX, so if you’re ever in the area, please stop in and give her some love!
